About

Knead Your Body Massage was a dream I had when I started massage school. I wanted to be able to help people reconnect with their bodies and find comfort in the movement of their daily lives.

My Story

Growing up, I always wanted to be a veterinarian. I loved animals and wanted to help them. I was about 18 when I realized that I did NOT want to be a veterinarian. At no point growing up did I say "I want to massage people". Where I grew up, it just wasn't a thing you did as part of your self-care. You went to the spa and got a massage as a reward for making it another year on your birthday and that was about it. Here in the NW, massage is considered healthcare. It blew my mind when I realized that massage was a part of peoples lives and that they used it to feel better and function better on a consistent basis. It was then that I realized that I could help make that difference.

In 2005 I took a one day Introduction to Massage that changed my life. I left class that day enrolled to become a massage therapist. Two years later, I was licensed and working here in Shoreline and I've never left.  Nothing makes me happier than knowing that I've helped someone be more comfortable in their body, relieved the pain and tension that they've been living with, and helped them find ways to improve their physical well-being.
